Hello and welcome to Ticonderoga Elementary School where we are "putting the pieces together" to unite our school with parents and community, promoting academic achievement, cooperation, and stewardship. Our website was developed thanks to the creativity and hard work of a group of fifth graders. This is just one of the many innovative and educational opportunities that TES has to offer its students.
Academically, Ticonderoga Elementary School has an
excellent reputation. Ti students are well-prepared
to meet State and national standards in math,
science, ELA, and social studies. Programs in the
arts, technology, health, and physical education
round out each child's school day. We have many
programs of support and enrichment for all students
including Universal Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten
Club, Developmental Kindergarten, Math Club,
after-school Homework Room, the 21st Century
Community Learning Centers Program, Young Scholars,
Art Enrichment, Band, Chorus, Drama, and a reading
enrichment program whose theme this year is "Reading... your ticket to adventure (because we succeed when our Sentinels read!)"
Our school's Building Leadership Team is responsible
for developing our annual improvement plan. This
plan supports our District's vision and Master Plan
as well as goals identified through results from our
Effective Schools Survey, testing data, and staff,
parent, and community input.
Nestled in the Adirondacks between Lake Champlain
and Lake George, the Ticonderoga community is a
small, caring collection of people who have joined
together as partners to support every child's
success in school.
We thank you for your part in that success and
invite new neighbors to join us in our continued
efforts.
